Fizis is proud to present the new system which can produce daily updated local weather forecast for the next two days, in the e-format, in local, English and other languages, custom made for each town and area of Montenegro. At this moment, beside local and English, we offer forecast in Russian and Italian, with the possibility of extension to any other language, according to the needs and wishes of our clients.
The forecast is being created by experienced experts, based on the results of very precise numerical forecasting model WRF v2.2. The resolution of this model is 4 kilometers, which practically means that it can predict weather on points with just 4 kilometers of distance. The model works on 60 vertical levels, which is very important, considering the orographic characteristics of Montenegro. Thus, the system can detect the small processes and generate high-quality forecast of the spatial and temporal distribution of the main meteorological parameters.
The Weather Forecast is being created daily and stored in the database on the server with high processing power and very fast link and can be exported to any data format, depending on the needs of the clients.
